It is with regret that I must inform all members that Susanne Jack has tendered her resignation as President and director of the G.S.T.B.A (t/a Tenpin Sydney) effective immediately. On behalf of the Board I wish to thank Susanne for her time, effort and contribution she has made and wish her all the best for the future.

Until the next AGM I will be standing in as acting President. Below is a listing of current board members for future reference.

Congratulations to James Wood For bowling his first ever perfect game on the 3rd of July at AMF Penrith Bowl During the Bandits League. This is a great achievement for one of our talented young bowlers.

Hi to all in 2008 - I hope you have had a great Christmas and New Year and are looking forward to another year of bowling.

Inter District commences for all Divisions on 2nd February. Anyone who would like to bowl in a team but has not got a position please contact Brian Hird as there are a few places available.

News from the East Coast Challenge Cup Committee is a change of schedule for team roll offs in 2008. All team roll offs will be held on the long weekend of June along with our annual Tenpin Sydney Championships.

So, for all of the members who are looking at rolling off for the State Teams you will only need to keep the June long weekend free on your calendar. There was a suggestion that Mt Gravatt would not be available for our East Coast Challenge Cup but it appears that this situation has been rectified.

Being the start of the year it is time again for Membership Renewals. All ID members will receive their 2008 cards on the first week of competition and I will be in touch with League Secretaries in the next few weeks for all other members.

Our 2007 Annual General Meeting was held on the 6th May 2007 and we are pleased to announced the 2007/2008 Committee is:

A Special Resolution was passed at the AGM to move the Associations Financial Year from 1st January - 31st December tto 1st July - 30th June. This will require the current board to serve 18 months with our next AGM to be held in November/December 2008.

The 2007 Tenpin Sydney Championship are only weeks away and we would like to remind all members wishing to participate to get their entry forms in to Barbara Marcollini.

We are still looking for Under 21's for our ECCC Team to compete in Moorabbin Vic from 1st to 6th October 2007. If you are interested in joining our State Team please give Barbara a call on 02 4579 1035.

Finally, congratulations to our President, Susanne Jack, on her inclusion in the Senior's National Team to represent Australia at the 9th Asian Seniors Championships, Suzuka Japan, in November 2007.
